Join Team Up 4 Orphans!

Into the Field is excited to be involved in the development of and serving as the Race Director for Team Up 4 Orphans. Benefiting Doma International and other orphan ministries, the efforts of each member of the Team Up 4 Orphans team will help children around the world enjoy an experience of home that is more complete than what they have known in life so far.

Boston Marathon winner and former US Marathon Olympic Team member Lisa Rainsberger will serve as the coach of the team. Joining together in training and fundraising, Team Up 4 Orphans will participate in the May 1, 2010 Capital City Half Marathon in Columbus, Ohio. You don't need to live in Columbus to be a part of the team!

How much of our time is spent waiting?Waiting for the right job, the right mate, the right opportunity to serve? The time to stop waiting and start thriving is NOW! If you're single, you'll want to join us October 16-17 for Thrive '09 - Faith Hope Love! This is the third year for the Ohio Christian Single's Conference, and I can assure you that it isn't like the typical "single's conference" (if it was, I'd be running the other direction like I tried to last year, but that is a separate story). Join Chris Coppernoll, Alathea, and others who share a passion for the Faith Hope and Love that we have through our God!

I don't know about you, but as I'm driving down the road, or needing a break from a crazy day, I like to turn on some beautiful praise and worship music to help adjust my perspective. I'd like to introduce you to Karen Burkhart. Karen released her first CD, Just a Glimpse, in the spring of 2009. Into the Field had the opportunity to begin working with Karen during the launch process. If you're looking for someone to sing at your event, or you just want to enjoy some fantastic music, you'll want to take a minute to check her out!

Rock My World!

Do you get the sense that something incredible is about to happen? One of the incredible gifts and blessings that Into the Field has is the opportunity to see up close and personal many of the exciting ways that people are choosing to live their lives and faith. As my friend Julie said when we were recently discussing our upcoming trip to the Ukraine, it seems as if God is getting ready to really bring us a "rock my world" experience. I pray that I am ready! What about you? Are you ready for Him to rock your world?
